Education and Outreach

The Center for Advanced Solar Photophysics (CASP) strives to educate people—beyond the immediate Center research group and its managers—regarding the basics of the Center's scientific focus, it activities, and the significance of its accomplishments. The Center reaches out to the larger scientific community, the scientists of tomorrow, and the public.

The senior scientists of CASP recognize that the opportunity to promote energy sciences to audiences varying from peers and government leaders, to postdocs and students, to the general public is an important benefit of involvement in an Energy Frontier Research Center (EFRC). Our partners have taken advantage of a number of forums to fulfill this responsibility, while promoting CASP and the EFRC program.
