Matthew Beard

Matthew Beard, National Renewable Energy Laboratory, is a Principal Investigator in the Office of Science's Center for Advanced Solar Photophysics. He is an expert in characterizing electronic properties in nanoscale materials, particularly through the application of terahertz spectroscopy. He will probe the effects of factors unique to close-packed thin films of semiconductor nanocrystals, such as interdot coupling, on charge-transport properties and multi-exciton effects.
